The 2016 Canada wide Culture Days run from Sept. 30 to Oct. 2, and the Arts and Culture Foundation of Cochrane (ACFC) has a lot planned.

The Culture Days Celebration aims at recognizing the value of Alberta's arts and cultural communities, showcasing unique talents, prides, and passions.

ACFC President Ruth Soroka invites all Cochranites to come out and see how many brilliant artists the town has to offer for the Cochrane Has ARTS Festival.

"It's basically to bring arts and culture forward within the community, and give people an opportunity to see what's available, and what's going on in town," she says. "Our hope is that people will actually make an effort to go. If people could just pop in at all these places, and realize what is going on, I think they would be very, very surprised about what is actually around."

There will be 14 displays, and events in Cochrane running from Saturday, Oct. 1, to Sunday Oct.2.
