When the return of the Cochrane Rangers was not to be, the Rangers created something club members could enjoy in its place.
They introduced the first 7s Inter-club Cup which proved to be a success.
Chair Craig Bounds says they were pleased to attract seven teams to the first edition.
"This is all Cochrane Rangers teams," says Bounds. "We have over 150 members that play on different teams and at different kinds of levels, and decided to get everybody together for a friendly tournament and a good day."
