Canadian Country music superstar Aaron Goodvin is fresh off winning awards at the Country Music Alberta awards ceremony, he has brand new music out this week but he's already looking ahead to this summer.

The Alberta-born singer will headline Saturday night at Cochrane's Bow Valley Boot Stomp

Goodvin loves headlining huge concerts like these "We're probably gonna bring it, we're so excited anytime we get a chance to be the closing act, it's only happened a handful of times and for whatever reason those shows just seem to be a little bit more magical than the rest, you know, we love being the last one to play, we love being the one that everybody is waiting for and we can't wait to bring it."

He added "Fortunately we have a lot of songs that people know and we will obviously play all of those. Then we just have a little bit of fun, we'll play a few cover songs and songs that everyone likes to sing and dance along too."

Goodvin recently took home two awards at the 13th annual Country Music Alberta Awards in Edmonton, those being Male Artist of the Year and Single of the Year.

Hi new single "Written All Over It" is out now and can be streamed everywhere. He says it feels like a summer anthem.

The two day outdoor concert goes from July 19-20. Tickets are on sale.
