Save-On-Foods to host Friday event to promote Hockeyville voting

Save-On-Foods Cochrane is hosting an event on Friday to encourage voting for Cochrane in Hockeyville.

Cochrane is one of four communities across Canada vying for the Kraft Hockeyville title. 

The event is being held in hopes of giving a boost to voting.

It will run from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. with the first 400 people getting a free hot dog and drink.

Save-On-Foods store manager, Ernie Cordonier says "We've got lots of those voting posters up so that we can have people bring their phones, use the QR codes and vote for Cochrane."

The event will also have a wheel you can spin for store rewards and players from the Cochrane Generals will be on hand.
