Cochrane residents are digging out after a spring snowstorm saw between 10-22 cm of snow fall in some areas.

The Town of Cochrane roads division is busy clearing priority routes, the downtown core, and school zones.

But residents are responsible for clearing pathways and sidewalks on their property.

When shoveling your sidewalks the town urges you to shovel snow onto your property and not onto the road. As well as trying to keep storm drains clear of ice and snow whenever possible.

If you require sand & salt mix for your pathways, the town has a stockpile that is available to the public at the Matt Krol sports field parking lot. You will need to bring your own bucket and shovel.
