As we head into the Christmas holidays, some Cochrane residents will see changes to their waste pickup schedule.

Residents who have waste, recycling, and organics collection on Mondays should be aware of schedule adjustments during the holiday season.

Collections originally set for December 25 will now take place on Saturday, December 23, while those scheduled for January 1 will be done on Saturday, December 30.

The Town offers a free Cochrane Collection app to help navigate all schedule changes.

The collection of Christmas trees is set to take place from January 2 to January 15, aligning with the regular waste and recycling collection days.

To streamline this process, residents are asked to place their trees one metre away from their black and blue carts.

It is important to remove all lights, tinsel, decorations, and netting before disposal.

In the event that you miss the curbside collection window, you are able to drop your tree off at the Eco Centre.
