Cochrane defenceman Kale McCann is among the recipients of major awards from the Alberta Elite Hockey League for the 2023-24 season.
The 14-year-old Cochrane player was selected to the U15 AAA second all-star team, along with teammate Jensen Marsh.
It's McCann's second season with the Airdrie Xtreme, arriving from the Bow Valley Timberwolves program.
He will be one of eight Cochrane area hockey players making rosters for the Alberta Cup being held in Red Deer, Apr. 24-28.
