The Cochrane Chaos junior female hockey team has had some pretty lopsided wins this season, but none match that of yesterday's 14-0 road win over the Southern Sage.

The Chaos continue to dominate the south division of the Alberta Junior Female Hockey League (AJFHL). It's their 14th straight win after losing two early in the season.

The junior team is in town this weekend for their first pair of home games in 2022.

Friday night, they take on the Calgary Jags at the SLS Family Sports Centre. Sunday afternoon, the Southern Sage are here.

Six games remain in the regular season, including a showcase against the top two teams in the north division in Red Deer on Feb. 5.

With three games in hand, the Chaos have opened up a five-point lead on the Lethbridge Eagles in the south division, and are also at the top of the league. Should that persist, they'll have home ice advantage for the AJFHL playoffs that begin in mid-February.
