We really do have the best of both worlds here in Cochrane.

Our quaint town with a population just shy of 30,000 offers quiet county living, small-town hospitality and scenery that can take your breath away. Yet, Cochrane proves to have a rich, diverse and vibrant community, inclusive of many cultures.

Palwinder Singh; better known as Paul, is a familiar face around the Cochrane community. Paul is an active resident who can often be found volunteering his time. Whether spearheading a community cleanup, collecting bottles for the local Legion or shopping for school supplies for kids in need, Paul is always happy to lend a helping hand.

Paul has been calling Cochrane home for the last six years and moved to our beautiful town from Amritsar, Punjab.

Many of you know him, but the real question is ... Did you know he's got moves that could give any Bollywood film star a run for their money?

Check out the fun video below of Paul dancing 'Bhangra' - a Bollywood film style dance which originates from the Punjabi culture.

This is just one of the many vibrant cultures that will be featured at The Amazing Cochrane Culture Hunt tomorrow (Sunday, September 27). The scavenger hunt is being put on by The Cochrane Immigrant Services Committee in lieu of CULTUREfest this year.

The interactive event will see registrants explore nine different locations and cultures across Cochrane.
