Cochrane curler Julianna MacKenzie will be playing in the feature game on TSN today at 12 noon MST on the opening day of the PointsBet Invitational.

Julianna MacKenzie is lead on the Abby Marks rink that comes into the tournament ranked 13th out of 16 women's teams. They're facing the Kaitlyn Lawes, ranked fourth.

The Marks rink qualified after placing second in the U25 NextGen Classic.

Cochrane curler Zoe Cinnamon also appears in the bonspiel as lead for the Team Gray-Withers. They successfully defended their U25 NextGen Classic title earlier this month. Team Gray-Withers come in ranked 10th and face the Isabelle Ladouceur rink (7th) in their opening draw tomorrow at noon.

Taking place from Sept. 27 to Oct. 1 at the Sixteen Mile Sports Complex in Oakville, ON., each team was provided travel expenses to participate with cash prizes on the line in each round. The women's and men's champions each walk away with a $50,000 purse.
