The Calgary Flames better halves are hosting a coat drive tonight!

If you're heading to the Scotiabank Saddledome this evening to catch the Flames vs. Penguins game you're asked to bring a new or gently used coat donation with you.

The 'Better Halves Coat Drive' is in support of the Salvation Army, and as Milan Lucic's better half Brittany explains in a Flames Foundation statement, the coats will be distributed to local families in need.

"On behalf of the Flames better halves, we are looking forward to hosting an initiative that will provide many people and families with clothing this winter," says Brittany Lucic. "Thanks to the people and fans that donate."

Fans heading to tonight's game are encouraged to drop off their jacket donations at the West Entrance of the Saddledome located in front of the Ticketmaster offices.

As a thank you  -- everyone donating a coat will be entered in for a chance to win a jersey!

Coat donations will be accepted from the time doors open at 5:30 p.m. until the end of the first intermission.
