The Town of Cochrane has extended the deadline for its age-friendly survey until Aug. 16.

Originally, the cut-off for feedback was Aug. 1.

The survey will provide valuable insight to guide Cochrane's plan to become a more age-friendly community by providing feedback on local transportation, housing, parks and recreation, health services, and civic and social environments.

Its value reaches beyond the needs of the older residents of the community. It's to break down barriers we all face.

The bottom line is creating a community that is accessible and supportive of all residents throughout their lifespan.

A hard copy version of the survey was initially released during Cochrane's robust Senior Week celebration before being placed online.
