Cochranites continue to do their part to help stop the spread of Covid -19, despite the rise in active cases provincewide.

The Town of Cochrane has dropped to two active cases of COVID-19. Rocky View County, on the other hand, is still on 'watch' status, with  38 active cases.

For three consecutive days heading into the weekend, the province saw more than 400 new cases. 432 new cases were reported on Friday after more than 15 thousand tests were performed.

Active cases of COVID-19 provincewide have climbed to 3,651, with 112 Albertans currently in hospital and 14 in intensive care.

To date, 20,310 Albertans have recovered from COVID-19.
