Cochrane GM has donated another $15,000 to the Cochrane and Area Humane Society, bringing its total contribution to $21,000 since the launch of the Wagging Tails campaign in February.

For every new and used vehicle sold, Cochrane GM donated to the Humane Society. They also set up collection boxes for donations of goods and cash.

"We're just helping as many as we can in the community. Unfortunately, the paws don't speak for themselves so we do anything we can," says Danny Loj, the dealership's marketing director.

CAHS executive director Janine Rossler says it was an amazing donation.

"We had no idea that it was successful as it was, but then again, I'm not surprised with what they provide the community and all the people that support GM and buy GM that a portion of their sales they were setting aside to benefit the animals here was unbelievable. We are very appreciative of the support. It's an amazing partnership."

The dealership supports other causes in the community, like the Big Hill Haven.

"It's been a tough year for them as well, so we'll anything we can do to impact them as well," says Loj.
