Weekly green bin pick-up begins next week

In a sure sign of spring in Cochrane, the weekly collection of the organics green bin begins next week around town. 

Starting Apr. 15, Cochranites can expect a weekly organics collection until the first week of November. This consistent schedule throughout spring and summer will simplify tracking for residents, eliminating the need for frequent checks on the organics schedule for the next seven months.

Residents unsure of what goes into the green bins are encouraged to download the 'My Cochrane Collection' app, which offers a What Goes Where Tool.

The tool lets users search the name of a waste item and it'll tell you how to recycle or dispose of it.

Green bins are picked up the day after your garbage collection day at 7:00 a.m. from the curb.
