The scene of a five-car collision has been cleared by emergency response workers.
An earlier collision this afternoon (March 16) delayed southbound traffic for only a short period of time according to Cochrane RCMP Corporal Troy Savinkoff.
No one was hurt and no charges are pending, shares the Corporal, who confirmed the pileup involved a semi-tractor trailer at Highway 1A and the Highway 22 intersection.
With vehicles travelling at a low rate of speed, Corporal Savinkoff says the impact was not as severe as it could have been.
Traffic flow is back to normal at this time.
