A major milestone this week on the work being done at one of Cochrane's busiest intersections.
The Town of Cochrane has reported a major milestone in the Hwy 1A/22 interchange project.
"The lifting of girders for the new Highway 22 bridge over Highway 1A is set to begin in the upcoming days and will continue throughout May, marking an exciting phase as the new infrastructure starts to take shape."
Work began on the $95-million interchange upgrade last year.
