For the first time ever, the Cochrane and District Chamber of Commerce is hosting a fall trade show this weekend.

Chamber executive director Kelly Carson said it's a more intimate setting than the spring show.

"We'll have more than 50 vendors, which is the maximum that you can hold in that facility. We're sold out, which is great. We'll have a different variety of vendors this time from our spring show."

It will be held at the Cochrane Lions Event Centre.

He said most of the vendors are local to the area. "Ninety-seven per cent of the people that are in the tradeshow are from Cochrane."

"It is not a Christmas themed show," Carson said "We wanted to be before that."

Food trucks will be on hand.

Admission is $2 per person, with proceeds going to charity.
