With the bodies of 25-year-old Jasmine Lovett and 22-month-old Aliyah Sanderson being positively identified, the Calgary Police Service has concluded their search for evidence in the case. 

Giving thanks to the RCMP, Alberta Parks Fish and Wildlife Officers, the public at large, as well as media, investigators are now actively reviewing tips and following up on information that continues to come in.

Robert Andrew Leeming, 34 years of age has been formally charged with two counts of second-degree murder in the investigation and has been identified as the landlord of the home in Cranston where Lovett and Sanderson were living.

Investigators believe the woman and toddler were killed between the night of April 16th and early morning hours of April 17th with their bodies being taken to the Kananaskis wilderness between April 17th and the 20th.

As this matter is now before the courts, no additional information is expected to be released. Robert Leeming is scheduled to make a court appearance on Tuesday (May 14).
