The 2024 Cochrane & District Chamber of Commerce Trade Show is set to make a grand return in just a few short weeks.

Ellen Covey with the chamber said it's one of the longest running events in our community and still going strong after over 40-years.

"I would consider it a signature event and we just showcase businesses local or otherwise. People come out from Calgary, sometimes there's a draw from further afield. For the most part it's local Cochrane businesses that are just looking to get some recognition, put themselves out there, get new business and create new relationships."

They are selling out quickly but Covey said there are a few spots left for businesses.

"We have a few booths left but we are getting close to sold out. It's a really great way to get yourself out there, make new relationships not just with the people who visit the tradeshow but also with the businesses."

Anyone interested in becoming a vendor can do so HERE.

"It's lots of fun. There's lots of samples and different conversations. It's one of those community places where people run into each other and have a conversation for an hour while they catch up with friends."

The family-friendly event will go May 4 & 5 at Spray Lake Sawmills (SLS) Centre.

Admission is $2.00 and is cash only. Kids 12 and under are free.
