We may not be breaking temperature records but most Cochrane residents can agree that we've had a pretty nice fall so far.

We've experienced many days with above seasonal temperatures, and we could hit 19C in the sun tomorrow.

But Samantha Mauti, Meteorologist with Environment and Climate Change Canada said there is a pattern change on the way for next week.

"Most models are hinting that quite a cool down is coming for Alberta next week. So bringing those temperatures down super low, and brining the possibility of snow with any precipitation that comes for some higher elevations."

She said so far residents of Cochrane have enjoyed a warmer than usual start to fall.

"It is shaping up to be a warmer than normal October."

While Mauti can't predict what Halloween will look like here in Cochrane, we do know that there will be a shift in temperatures next week with cooler weather and snow on the way.
