The Cochrane Generals are coming off a 7-6 win over the Mountainview Colts last night to face their closest rival in the north division of the Heritage Junior Hockey League this afternoon at the Cochrane Arena.

The Sylvan Lake Wranglers are in town, and if it compares to their latest meeting, fans can expect a highly-charged, end-to-end game.

The winning goal in their first meeting of the season came off the stick of Gens captain Patrick Forde with just 20 seconds remaining.

The Wranglers arrived with fresh legs after a week off and will be looking to prove they are the top team in the north.

Not so quick, say the Gens, who got a little redemption against the Colts last night on the road.

The Gens were leading 6-2 after two and held off a third-period comeback by the Colts for the win.

Game time is 3 p.m.
