There will be no shortage of things to do this weekend as Creeker's get ready to celebrate Bragg Creek Days.

Kari Siegfried, Special Events Coordinator, says Bragg Creek Days has been running for approximately 50 years.

A pancake breakfast kicks off the Saturday events, leading into the parade, followed up by activities at the Community Centre. Siegfried tells us what we can expect this year.

"The outdoor market, 50/50 will be going on, midway games, live entertainment, face painting, bouncy houses, and of course food from the Cadets. This year we have pony rides which is new, and we also have the local acrobatic studio that is going to be coming and doing some games and performances throughout the day, and we also have our first ever pie eating contest from 12-1."

They will also have live bands including Wakeup Starlight and Grant Kanigan.

Siegfried says Bragg Creek Days is a time for the community and outlying areas to come together.

"I think just to celebrate our community, where we have come from, and get everybody together since it is such a tight community. Just a time for everyone to come out and promote Bragg Creek, a place we all love so much, and try to get other people to come be a part of it."
