The town has been reworking its 2020 budget to adjust to the drop in revenue caused by the lockdown of businesses.

Mayor Genung says the COVID-19 crisis has seen town revenues fall and town administration is reworking its budget to adjust.

"Town administration is looking at the budget, they are looking at projects, they are looking at all of the things that we need to adjust to the COVID-19 response," said Mayor Genung.

He says its too early to say if that will have an impact on property taxes.

"There's the probability that they could change. Council will be looking at the budget when the administration comes back with the recommended action plan."

He says municipalities across the nation are struggling with the same question.
