On the three week anniversary of the first reported case of COVID 19 Dr Deena Hinshaw, in what is now her daily update, reported the latest numbers. In the past 24 hours, there was sixty-seven additional cases of COVID-19 confirmed, bringing the total number of cases in the province to 486.

Of that total, 300 cases are in the Calgary zone. The number of cases for Cochrane/Springbank is five.

Currently, 21 people are hospitalized, 10 admitted to intensive care, and 27 Albertans have recovered.

Sadly, in three weeks Alberta has seen two deaths attributed to the virus. 

The Alberta Health Services protocols remain the same, proper hygiene, social distancing and self isolating are critically important to limiting the spread of the coronavirus.
