The Cobras girls team opened the tournament with 57-49 win over Canmore, then defeated Strathmore 42-39 in the final. Their other game was cancelled after the Olds teams did not attend due to poor road conditions. Two of their players, Kiara Carter and Maddie de Brun were named tournament all-stars.

In their opening game, the Bobcats got some redemption with a 65-35 against Brooks who beat them early this season. In game two, they couldn't seem to buy a basket and lost to Strathmore, 42-29. In the bronze medal game, they won a squeaker against Canmore, 46-45.

The Bobcats have a pair of games against high ranked Didsbury and  Archbishop O’Leary Catholic teams before the final games of the Crescent Heights High (Calgary) tournament.

Rocky View divisional playoffs start Feb. 26 with the finals set for Mar. 2. Zone playoffs are on Mar. 8-9. Cochrane High is hosting the varsity girls zone championship while the boys play at Airdrie's Bert Church.
