The Cochrane Pregnancy Care Centre is a non-profit charitable organization that has been helping women and families in Cochrane and area for 25 years. Like the town itself, the needs have grown over the years and the CPCC finds that it is in need of a larger space.

As Office Manager, Elise Shelley explains, " We are running out of space here in this space we are in right now for the centre. We are looking for a new space that will allow us to have a little bit more room to be able to stretch out."

The fundraiser that they are holding is called Adopt A Day, in which they are looking for donors to pick one day a month for a year to make a donation of as little as $10. Shelley gives the example, "If a hundred people could manage to donate $10 a month, that would give us extra money in order to go out and lease a new space for the centre."

The larger space would help to meet the needs of the family clients that the Cochrane Pregnancy Care Centre helps on a regular basis. Here are some of the services the centre provides free and confidential: Practical support, pregnancy tests and information, adoption referrals, peer counselling and advocacy, nutrition and prenatal instruction.
