The town's social recovery task force has received a strong response to its survey on how Cochrane area residents are coping through the COVID-19 pandemic.

There's still time for others to submit their response. The online survey will remain available to answer until June 29. Hard copies are also available to pick up from the little library in front of the FCSS building, 209-2nd Ave. W. Completed surveys can be slipped into the mailbox in front of the FCSS office.

By Monday, June 22, 426 surveys had been completed.

"We're thrill with the response," says FCSS Manager Kim Krawec, who also chairs the social recovery task force. "The amount of time people have taken to complete the survey has been incredible."

"We have pages and pages of comments and people's suggestions, not only about how COVID impacted them personally but what they need for support and ideas to get our community connected again. So it's been really beautiful."

The information will be compiled and utilized by the task force to help guide their work.
