Road and sidewalk crews are out in force this morning, clearing snow that started as a light flurry late last night.

This morning, the snow is falling a little harder and a north wind of 30, gusting to 50, is decreasing visibility for motorists and making it chilly for pedestrians.

Environment Canada is expecting the snow to subside this morning, but with the wind chill, it will feel like -21 throughout the day. That drops further to -28 with wind chill overnight with a risk of frostbite.

The good news is it's expected to clear tomorrow with sunshine in the forecast. The temperatures are expected to be back in the pluses by Wednesday.

Caution is advised for motorists.
