Cochrane ball player Simon Baker is in the Dominican Republic training with Baseball Canada's U18 national team.

This afternoon he was in right field for Canada's game against recruits of the Philadelphia Phillies in the sixth day of the intense camp.

They already played prospects of the Miami Marlins, Pittsburgh Pirates, San Diego Padres in the first three days of the camp and yesterday had a doubleheader against the Pirates and Boston Red Sox.

Six more games remain against the Chicago Cubs, San Fransico Giants, Toronto Blue Jays, St. Louis Cardinals, Milwaukee Brewers, and Cincinnati Reds.

It follows a similar camp in Florida. The camp continues until May 24.
