You may have seen the photo on social media with members of the Humboldt Broncos, including Airdrie's Ryan Strazchnitzki.

The photo, which has gone viral, shows 13 members of the 2018 Broncos in Saskatoon together for the first time since the April 2018 crash.

Strazchnitzki said that at first, it was a bit nerve-wracking knowing he would be seeing many of his former teammates again.

"You haven't seen them in so long. Everyone experienced this differently so you're not sure how some people are going to handle it. You kind of go in with the right mindset. Those nerves go away as soon as everyone starts hugging each other. We're like a family now."

Back home, Strazchnitzki is busy with physiotherapy and training for sled hockey with Team Alberta.

"We'll be doing training camps every month or so and getting prepared for nationals in May," he said. "Looking forward to that, training hard and hoping for the best."

The Alberta team won the last national tournament in 2019 and has remained undefeated for the past four years.
