Tomorrow, the town starts a phased approach to a return of its staff to their regular workplace, followed by the reopening of town facilities.

On July 2, the Visitor Information Centre, 521-1st St. W., reopens. That will be followed by the Cochrane RancheHouse on July 6.

The reopening of other town facilities will follow in a phased manner.

Residents can expect facility modifications and controls established to meet Alberta Health and Occupational Health and Safety requirements, designed to keep the public safe and to limit the spread of COVID-19.

The staff will begin their re-entry on June 22.

Since mid-Match, town facilities have been closed to the public, and most staff began working from home.

The Cochrane Eco Centre was the first facility to reopen on June 2 with restrictions in place. Town officials say it has seen steady use with good compliance to the public health measures established.
