Cochrane Mounties are hoping the public can help them identify the man responsible for a recent assault that took place at Mr. Mikes Steakhouse Casual. 

A man walked into the restaurant on Quarry St. on Feb. 12 at approximately 6:15 p.m. and wasn't wearing a face mask. 

As per provincial mandates, an employee of the restaurant asked the man to wear a face covering. The man then punched the employee in the face.

The male employee suffered minor injuries. 

The suspect is described as having light skin. He's approximately 35-40 years old with short brown hair and has a mustache. He's got a heavy build, weighing approximately 220 lbs. He was wearing a North Face hoodie, a baseball cap and blue jeans.

After leaving the restaurant he fled in a black truck with flames along the side. He was last seen heading eastbound on Griffin Road.
