A loaded shotgun and rifle were among the items seized by the Cochrane RCMP after stopping a suspicious vehicle on Dec. 6.

Three Morley men were arrested when the officers spotted a firearm in the vehicle. Upon further investigation, several weapons were located and seized, including the loaded firearms, bear spray, and brass knuckles. 

Carlyle Holloway, 39, Zachary Sampson, 33, and Aldina Snow, 34, all from Morley, face multiple charges, including four counts of possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, three counts of carrying a concealed weapon, two counts of storage of a firearm, two counts of unauthorized possession of a firearm and one count of tampering with a serial number.

Holloway is in custody and appears in Cochrane Provincial Court on Dec. 10. Snow was released on a $3,000 no recognizance and is scheduled to appear in court the same day. Sampson was released on a $2,000 no deposit recognizance and appears on Dec. 17.
