Kindred Cochrane Pride Society is a community group which has submitted papers to become a non-profit society. Their mission statement is: "Promote inclusion and diversity for the LGBTQ2S+ community."

Aside from monthly board meetings, the organization holds various activities ranging from a fun Pub Night at the Iron Bridge, to campfires and sing-alongs, to awareness workshops.

Brianna Sharpe a board member of Kindred Cochrane Pride Society says, "we are creating bridges, creating dialogues, creating ways to promote inclusion and diversity for the LGBTQ2S+ community."

The group is currently looking for another board member and you can find more information on Kindred Cochrane Pride Society Facebook page. They are hoping to be approved with a non-profit society status sometime in the spring at which time they will be able to plan more extensive events.
