This Tuesday, December 6, Cochranites are invited to Coffee with a Cop at the Fireside McDonalds from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m.

The community initiative is between McDonalds, RCMP and Cochrane, and Area Victim Services.

It is a chance for residents to officers to get together in a social atmosphere and share stories and thoughts about the community.

The popular Coffee with a Cop program is again enjoying a good turnout post-pandemic.

Lauren Delahunt, Executive Director of Cochrane and Area Victim services says it is something everyone truly enjoys, "To get around and talk to the community sit down and have a cup of coffee or a cookie or a doughnut. We have been going and you leave that event and you just feel like you have some extra life in you because it is so nice to have that community connection."

So, this Tuesday, at 10 a.m. drop by the Fireside Mcdonald's location at 50 Fireside Gate everyone is welcome.

Delahunt says, "It has been a very rejuvenating thing for us to do on Tuesday."
