Once again, residents are being invited to craft jack-o-lanterns for the 2nd annual Pumpkin Walk at Bethany Cochrane.

The inaugural event brought many smiles to Bethany residents and was widely embraced by the community.

Monica Johnson, Bethany Cochrane site administrator, says people are welcome to drop off their creations on either Oct. 28 or 29.

"Then our residents will judge the winner. After that, we'll set them up in our front area for people to come by the see them."

They will be on display on Halloween, Sunday, Oct. 31.

"They'll be happy to see everybody drive by and see our pumpkins, and we're excited to pick a winner."

Make sure you include a note inside your jack-o-lantern with contact information.

Johnson says they didn't have a lot of people drive by last year but did receive a wealth of entries and incredible community support.

"We're really excited to see loads of pumpkins, and then hopefully lots of people will come by."

The pumpkins won't go to waste afterward. They'll be used for chicken feed.
