It's not really a shocker that the CDC has recommended that we should be avoiding trick-or-treating during this global pandemic.

COVID-19 has been sucking the fun out of most things for more than half a year already.

But, a lot of parents are wondering how we can still make Halloween fun for the kids while staying safe.

The agency is recommending lower-risk Halloween activities such as pumpkin carving in your home, hosting a movie night or a virtual costume contest.

I would imagine a lot of families will be doing these things, but let's face it, trick-or-treating is the icing on the cake at Halloween.

Kids want to show off their cool costumes and they want free candy.

How do you plan on celebrating Halloween this year? How can we have fun, while limiting the spread of COVID-19?
