Cochrane is getting a dockless electric scooter program that kicks off this Friday, August 13, 2021.

Roll has been chosen as Cochrane's sole shared e-scooter operator, with the company prioritizing safety first. It is a two-year pilot program that is funded and operated by Roll with the Towns approval on the program.

"We are thrilled to expand our operations in Cochrane. We have been working closely with the Town to introduce our industry-leading shared e-scooters in a safe and responsible manner while generating new jobs across Alberta to support the post-pandemic revival," said Arda Ertürk, Co-Founder and CCO of Roll.

The pricing guide for the scooters is $1 to unlock and $0.35 per minute of riding + tax with options of monthly unlock passes.

The program launch is on Friday, August 13th from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at Centennial Plaza.

Roll currently operates in Kelowna and Red Deer
