Once again, Cochrane's active COVID 19 cases are going in the right direction.

Cochrane now has six active cases down from seven. Unfortunately, Rocky View County can not say the same as it has seen an increase going from 29 to 34 cases over the weekend.

Provincially, the numbers continue to rise reporting close to 900 cases over the weekend for an record active high.

  • Friday saw 311 new cases with 16,021 tests performed
  • Saturday saw 231 new cases with 12,556 tests performed
  • Sunday saw 356 new cases with 13,578 tests performed
  •  Alberta now sits at 3,138 active cases.
  • There are 117 people in hospital with 18 in ICU.
  • Four additional deaths were reported bring that total to 292 deaths in the province. 
  • Alberta has seen 19,243 people recover from the virus.
