The Spray Lake Sawmills Family Sports Centre has been selected as one of the stops on the Rogers Hometown Hockey playoff viewing party tour.

On May 7, Game 3 of the first-round playoff series between the Calgary Flames and Dallas Stars will be shown on an outdoor big screen in a festival-like atmosphere. They'll be free hockey activities, NHL alumni appearances, music, entertainment and a beer garden with food stations.

The fun goes from 5 to 10:30 p.m. with the game broadcast beginning at 7:30 p.m.

Free tickets are available here.

Cochrane hosted a Hometown Hockey event during a regular season game way back in Feb. 2017. With the Flames contending for the Stanley Cup this time around, you can expect the air to be charged with even more excitement.

We'll be able to cheer on Cochrane's very own Dillon Dube, who's come into the playoffs hot. You may recall he captivated fans worldwide in last year's playoff with his scoring prowess and full beard. Remember, "Fear the Beard?"
