The powerhouse Cochrane Chaos has wrapped up their south semifinals series against the Calgary Jags in the Alberta Junior Female Hockey League (AJFHL).

This Friday, Feb. 25, they open their best-of-three south final series against the Lethbridge Eagles at Totem One in the SLS Family Sports Centre. The puck drops at 7:30 p.m.

The Chaos beat the Jags 4-1 and 5-2 to advance.

In Game Two in Calgary on Feb. 20, they took a 3-1 lead by the end of the first. After a scoreless second, Chaos scored two more to win, 5-2.  Kelly Stanford and Nicole Johnson both scored a pair, and Teah Workman notched the first one seven minutes into the game.

The Lethbridge Eagles, who finished second in the south, won their opening game against the Calgary Titans, 4-1 at home, then wrapped up the series with a 2-1 overtime win in Calgary on Sunday.

The Chaos have home-ice advantage in the best-of-three south final.
