If you are looking to add a new member to your family, this weekend is the Winter Whisker Cat Adoption event at the Cochrane And Area Humane Society. You can adopt a cat that is aged six months or older for only $25.

Lisa Kedian, Communication Coordinator for The Cochrane and Area Humane Society says that this event is meant to point the spotlight at older cats. “ Right now we have over 120 cats in our care, 51 of them are in foster. A lot of the older cats usually get overlooked, which is why we want to do this event. We’d like to get them out of the shelter and hopefully, they can have a merry Christmas in their furever home as well.”

The Winter Whisker Cat Adoption event starts today and goes until Sunday, December 1. You can see all the cats available for adoption at the Cochrane And Area Humane Society here.
