For the second day in a row, Bow Valley High School (BVHS) is reporting active cases of COVID-19.

In another letter sent out to parents yesterday, (March 2, 2021) Principal of  Bow Valley High School, Jim Reilly states that "additional individuals" from the high school have tested positive for the virus.

Reilly says that the BVHS staff continues to work closely with Alberta Health Services (AHS) to ensure that all the necessary safety protocols are being followed to protect students and staff.

No further details have been released on how many "additional individuals" have tested positive at this point.

If staff or students have been identified as a close contact to any of the confirmed COVID-19 cases, they will be notified by phone, email or mail by either AHS or the school as per the routine communication process.

Reilly says that additional cleaning of the facility has been completed since these individuals were last at the school, and Bow Valley High will remain open for in-class learning.
