Balzac Billy emerged from his burrow this morning, complete with a mask, but it looks like he is predicting more winter on the way.

The weather predicting rodent was wrong in 2020 when he said we'd get an early spring, so there's a 50/50 chance he'll be wrong this year and we'll get an early spring in 2021.

Typically he's greeted by a big crowd when he digs his way out of the dirt but due to COVID-19 restrictions he had just a few friends and family on hand and his prediction was done over Facebook and Instagram live.

Shortly after Billy made his prediction, the snow started to fly.

The other two weather predicting groundhogs in North America, Wiarton Willie from Ontario predicted an early spring while, Punxsutawney Phil from Pennsylvania, predicted six more weeks of winter.
