Yesterday's COVID-19 update saw one of the lowest numbers of newly confirmed cases in close to two months.

The last 24 hours saw an increase in 19 new cases of COVID-19 across the province and sadly, one more death raising that number to 128.

To date, there have been 5,637 recoveries across the province and there are currently 970 active cases.

There are currently 58 people in hospital with seven receiving treatment in intensive care units.

There have been 20 confirmed cases in the Cochrane-Springbank geographical area, 17 of whom have recovered. Three remain active.

It was announced prior to the May long weekend that Dr. Hinshaw will scale back on daily COVID-19 updates.
